The Story of Circle K Ranch

We use simple, home-raised feed and nutrition which allows us to cut down on our carbon footprint. Our cattle have free-choice access to alfalfa grass mix hay and balance out their ration with low input, reduced fertilizer corn. We have found that using the correct ration of energy and protein levels through the finishing phase leads to proper gains with no added hormones.

Besides raising quality beef, we have converted our land away from conventional farming practices. We are passionate about regenerative farming and practice no-till and have converted crop ground to perennial hay land. 

We take our role as stewards seriously, practicing high stock density grazing as well as rotational grazing, allowing our land time to rest, which improves soil health. This mimics the symbiotic relationship native bison once had with the land.
